First off, you don’t have to match my exact dates. I’m flexible with a longer stay by a few days on either side of the sublet.
500 square foot studio apartment located in a modern elevator building in the East Village, tree lined block, E12th street in between 2nd and 3rd Aves. Hardwood floors throughout. Super quiet, apartment faces interior, get tons of light, NEVER hear the street noise/traffic, if anything you’ll hear violins on a Saturday morning (a music school for kids is located diagnolly from the apartment.
Coin laundry facilites in the basement. Full size kitchen with kitchen table for two. Couch/futon that can be turned into a bed for 2. Queen size bed, super that lives in the building. Double secure entry to building, and Double lock door to the apartment. Super in building if anything goes wrong. I can also get you a week of gym access.
*Cable TV with DVD player.
*Wireless Internet
*Central Heat and Air conditioning
*You’re welcome to anything in my fridge or kitchen cabinets, so if you like cereal, consider breakfast provided.
*Sheets, two pillows and a set of towels provided.
Kitchen has electric stove, microwave and coffee maker, tea kettle and an array of pots, pans, silverware, bowls, plates, cups, mugs etc.
No Smoking in the apartment please
The Neighborhood:
-Two blocks from Union Square (N,R,Q,W, 4,5,6, L to brooklyn). Some of the best food and culture can be found the the East Village. This the perfect home base to start your downtown NYC adventure from.
-Tons of buses, like the M15 select bus that does down 2nd Avenue in express mode.
-It is the fun neighborhood that everyone comes to because it is filled with affordable cool and trendy/ethnic restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, shopping, yoga studios,coffee shops, live music venues, and gyms. Pretty much anything you could want you can walk to.
If you want to venture out of the east village you will be in walking distance of Thompson Square Park, Lower East Side, SoHo, NoHo, West Village, Bowery, Greenwich Village, Union Square, Gramacy Park, China Town, Little Italy, and Washington Square Park.
